How to become a member

Becoming a member of the Global STEM Society is a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We offer two types of membership: Ordinary and Extraordinary. Ordinary members are professionals actively engaged in STEM research or related fields, while Extraordinary members are individuals recognized for their exceptional contributions to the global STEM community. Manual of Rules for Joining Our Global STEM Society

Welcome to the Global STEM Society! To uphold our commitment to excellence and foster meaningful collaboration among members, we have established a comprehensive set of guidelines for evaluating and welcoming new members. Please review the following rules carefully before applying.

Membership Categories

a. Ordinary Members:
Ordinary membership is open to individuals actively engaged in STEM research with a demonstrated commitment to advancing their fields. Applicants must submit a formal application detailing their professional background, research achievements, and contributions to their discipline.

b. Extraordinary Members:
Extraordinary membership is reserved for individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the STEM community. Candidates are nominated and approved by the society’s board of directors based on their exceptional achievements, skills, and impact.

Application Process

Ordinary Membership

1. Application Submission: Complete the official membership form, providing detailed information about your academic qualifications, research background, publications, and professional experience.

2. Recommendation Letters: Include two letters of recommendation from established experts in your field to support your application.

3. Evaluation: Applications will be rigorously assessed by the society’s review committee, which will evaluate research quality, professional impact, and alignment with the society’s mission and values.

4. Approval: Approved applicants will be formally notified and provided with details regarding membership fees, benefits, and onboarding.

Extraordinary Membership

1. Candidate Identification: Extraordinary members are identified based on their exceptional accomplishments and significant contributions to STEM disciplines.

2. Board Approval: Nominations are reviewed by the board of directors, who assess the candidate's skills, reputation, and influence within their field.

3. Invitation: Approved candidates receive a formal invitation outlining the privileges and responsibilities of extraordinary membership.

Code of Conduct

1. Members must uphold the highest standards of ethical behavior, demonstrating integrity, respect, and professionalism in all endeavors.

2. Active participation in society activities—including conferences, workshops, and collaborative projects—is highly encouraged.

3. Discrimination, harassment, or misconduct will not be tolerated. Any such behavior will be addressed promptly with appropriate actions, including potential membership termination.

Annual Membership Review

2. Members failing to meet the society’s standards may be subject to a membership review and, if necessary, revocation.
